G1 sets still in some stores- (no really)

So the other day I went into a toy strore, one that I had been in before they generally had new stuff aside from the odd thing from the year before but when I went in this time what did I find?

None other then The battle for Metru-nui playset, 11 years after it was released.

so I just want to know if any one else has found the old G1 sets still showing up.

Back in 2013 I saw Mahri Hewkii in a ToysRUs. I tried to buy it but it wasn’t in their system so I just left it alone since I already have him

I remember K*B Toy’s had alot of vintage sets, too bad it was closed down years ago.

I hardly have cash and manage to buy Brutaka from that store.

I once saw Mata Nui at Toys R Us-in 2012.

I didn’t get him because I already got him in 2009.

To be honest, I see a lot of older toys at toys r us (I.E I saw a revenge of the fallen Skids-at the time Dark of the Moon came out)

I remember finding Axalara T9 at a local Toys R Us in 2011.

There’s a video floating around of a store in Mexico (I think) that still carries the Barraki and Mahri in bulk.

Yeah, I think the link was posted on the boards somewhere

For a while, the local U.S. Toys branch carried a bunch of 2009 sets. But now, their supply has run out.

Lets see… Theres this place in Alameda, CA that has a bunch of older toys (Star Wars Kenner, Hasbro, older gundam kits) as well as new ones. The 1st time I went there I saw a Toa Metru Nuju with the canister. The last time I went I found a Toa Mata and Nuva Onua (I picked up Mata Onua) and the r and g Vahki. All of them still had their canisters, and the Onua Mata came with the instructions, and the poster.

I saw Zaktan at target a couple of months ago. I really wanted to buy him, but I had no money.

There’s a Castle brick master set at my barns and nobel that I’ve been keeping an eye on for… how many years now? I’ll get around to getting it eventually.

Pictures or it didnt happened.

I think my local toymasters still stocked some Barraki and some of the larger 2008 vehicle sets until 2013, where they revamped the shop and the sets were never seen again.
Do charity shops count? Because I’ve seen quite a few figures still in-box for like £1 or something.

I was given a new in box Reidak back in 2011/2012 or somethin. It was purdy swag. Not sure if it was because of regift cycles or because it just stuck around in stores for a while.

Back in 2012 a Glatorian Mata nui set was being sold at a thrift store as a collectible…

not sure if that counts…

There is a used lego store nearby where I live, and they have a giant bin of bionicle parts. you can build whatever you want and take it home for 4 bucks, or get a one gallon bag for 25 bucks.

Well, it’s not in any way recent, but … I remember that you could still get Pohatu Mata at my local Toys R Us in 2006 or something. There were like 20 canisters left back then. Poor Pohatu, nobody wanted him …

we have one store in my town named coop forum that still have the old Shima CCBS crow set and some older lego sets as well but sadly they are going to move location and when they do I think they will trow away aloot of the toys in the store as they dont sell.
(thinking of asking if they are going to trow it away and if they say yes as if I could buy every CCBS lego they have for 75% of normal price that way they will atleast earn somthing from them insted of just trowing it all away,)
