So with the impending release of the 2016 Uniters (Totally Nuva), it was time to take apart my G2 Toa Mocs and try a Mata-style build. I’d tried before with an early Takanuva build, which I never uploaded, but this time I had pretty much all the parts I needed and just started building.heres the results.
Tahu
I’ve got no major gripes with how this turned out, if the bones come out in orange I may change them over.
Kopaka

Again, pretty happy with this, the “skull” bone pieces gave the height i wanted for him.
Onua
Maybe the claws are a bit oversized, but hey…
Pohatu
So Pohatu game me some trouble with the upside down body, but as he’s my favourite Toa, he was worth it.
Gali
So there’s obviously two types of blue going on here, if i used all mata, the mask would have stood out like a sore thumb, lesser of two evils…
Lewa
My least favourite. I don’t (yet) have Lewa Mata’s axe, so I’ve subbed him with his axe from my revamp. The shoulder spikes gave me real trouble but, its not the worst I’ve built.
