Gali GWP MOC Contest Entry: Axonn !

Hero of the order of mata nui, Axonn joins the contest with his massive axe !

The torso was a pain to build but I managed to get a satisfying result, featuring the same articulations as Tahu (+ fingers).

The mask has the easy to remove function with a head underneath.

I also wanted my model to have a buildable mask as an alternative to the print.

Comparison to the Tahu GWP :

Instructions aren’t available yet (It will depend on my motivation) but this model is 100% buildable, containing only pre-existing parts.

Yoo this is sick. I love Axonn, this model does him a lot of justice. I love the hands and chest, and the mask is cleverly done. My only complaint would be the axe itself, a bit too blocky for my taste. Do you think you might release a decal that’s able to print? I’ve been collecting some custom made ones.

I agree for the axe, it’s the last part I built and I was worried to not have the time before the deadline. I gotta work on the decal, I did it free hand, it’s not very clean right now.

What piece is the mask printed on? It looks like a really creative assembly, but none of the angles really show the side of the printed mask.

It’s a 3x3 dish piece, I made the photos facing the head so that it would be easier to draw.
