Testing nonexistent skill in artwork by sketching Gali. I set up the “studio”, and added the lighting , but it still looks like @haloblast took a massive crap in Mordor. Not meritable whatsoever, so please list as many detracting factors as you like; that’s all it has. XP
Edit: You guys actually liked this junk? Gee, the new age of humanity…~Pirean
I like how much effort you put into the axe and how you replicated, if not added more, onto the weapon design…but you were forced to squish it up against the edge of the page
Awesome job!
You took the original set and enhanced it giving detail where detail is due, and simplicity where simplicity is due!
I especially like the weapon- it looks very clean, refined, and sharp!
(How did you do all this without smudging it?!)
First of all, this is terrible. I don’t see how “simplicity” has been used to enhance the sketch, and there’s an obviously vagueness.
Secondly, the weapon looks like crap. There are lines, but they aren’t cohesive as a weapon.
(Oh, and I smudged it the entire time. That’s why it sucks.)
I don’t know why your being so hard on yourself. This looks really good to me!
In my opinion you did a fine job preventing smudges (when I shade in pencil, there is almost always smudges!), and the weapon to me looks really defined! If you really elwant criticism, I could say the mask needs some work (it isn’t really symmetrical).
I hope you were joking about it not looking good, because it looks pretty good to me!
