Gaviran Mountain Goat

As the name suggests, these hardy Rahi can be found all throughout the mountains of the island of Gavira. They are excellent climbers and are despite their small size even used a pack animals or mounts by the local Matoran.
It is said they are deeply loyal and quite smart, although they can also be very stubborn.

And a bit of size comparison nonsense:

Finally got around to taking pictures of some of my MOCs gathering dust on my shelves. This one was a more or less spontaneous build last summer as a mount (her name was Brokkoli) for a character in a RP. Originally I was planning to go more in a cangaroo direction, but four legs are much easier to work with than two :stuck_out_tongue: . So it turned into a goat.
Not displeased with the result, though. Doing a Rahi now and then is quite fun.

Really like this! The variety of brown shades used is a nice touch.

The fact that Mr. Inika there can balance on it is quite impressive. Seeing as it was a spontaneous build, how long did it take to make?

It’s small and has four legs with lots of friction (also a refreshing change of things from my usual MOCs :P), plus 'Nika Guy barely weighs anything, so it’s not that surprising that it can carry him. Nevertheless, that roborider head is important for holding him in place.

It wasn’t spontaneous as in “I sat down and just built it”. More like “hey, I have this idea right now, why not build something”.
Since I built it quite a while ago, I don’t remember how long it took, but guessing from dates of some WIP pictures, I spent about a week on it. Though that was a week where I had to work, so I probably didn’t invest too much time per day. But it must have been 5-6 hours total at least.

This is a very nice, compact build. The naturally-greebled Technic parts make the whole thing look very techno-organic (as is to be expected).
