General "help me identify this piece" thread

Several people have made topics for identifying unknown pieces, so we thought it’d be a good idea to have one general thread for this kind of question.
This is the place to ask when you have…

  • a Lego piece you don’t recognize
  • a built chunk from a model you don’t recognize
  • basically anything else that requires identification, you get the idea

Just ask, I’m sure there’s people who will be able to help you out!

Starting this thread, I’ve got a piece myself that I don’t recognize and can’t find on Bricklink. It’s an orange cube, smooth on 5 sides, that attaches to a stud on the underside.

I couldn’t capture it on a photo, but it has a Lego copyright on the inside, so it’s an official piece.

Any idea what this is?

looks like a Minecraft head sans the decal

(And thank you for jumping on this)

Yeah I think it’s a plain MC head. used as a pumpkin

Edit: Just saw your edit, probably a pumpkin then. Thank you!

Yeah that seems about right, I have some parts from this chicken farm set (got them in a lot) which has a figure with an orange head. The other printed pieces from this set (little chicken heads, blue sign thing, minifigure torso etc) are still in excellent condition, so maybe someone removed the print from the head for whatever reason?? I doubt that it’s a misprint.

After manually looking at all the sticker sheets for sets containing at least two black 2x6 tiles, I have found that these tiles are from Set 76217 I Am Groot:

(You can see one of them on the cassette tape)

It’s not you; for some reason, none of the stickered parts from this set are listed on BrickLink. That was a common theme for a lot of the sets I looked at with these 2x6 tiles. I suppose it could make sense for brand new sets that are still getting their inventories sorted out, but a lot of these sets are years old.

Before this, the only time I’ve ever noticed BrickLink missing a stickered part was a single part from an Exo-Force set.

If you can track down all the other parts, you should look at adding entries for the stickered parts, or at least taking pictures of them so someone else can do the rest of the entries.

Awesome, Thank you for finding that. I found a similar situation for stickered parts in a Dreamzzz set too. I’ve gor a few items that have no entries, I’ll find a day to sit down and add what I’ve got

I had the same issue when looking for that stickered “onua mask” piece from that Monkie Kid set.

Does anybody recognize this dark gray part? Looks like a modified 3L beam, I took a look around Bricklink but couldn’t find any matches.
