Good screen recorder

Hey guys.

I’m looking for a good screen recorder, specifically one to do Let’s Plays.

I’m trying to record a Let’s Play of Lego Worlds, but Bandicam (the free screen recorder I am using) cant record it. I have tried a few different ones, but with no luck.

What would be a good recorder for this, and Let’s Plays in general?

Xsplit has recording stuff+livestreaming capabilities

If you’re willing to pay $37 for it, then yes.

I use fraps and it works really well. Great quality and no frame rate lag. Though the files are huge, so you’ll want to compress them ASAP. (if you’re editing the footage you use that’ll do. You just delete the raw footage when you’re done). It also doesn’t seem to bog down my computer much when I use it.

I would say it’s worth the price. You get what you pay for.

Here’s a example of something I filmed during my weird phase of thinking I could be a successful LPer.

I’ve been asking the same thing :stuck_out_tongue:

I got fraps, it works well

QuickTime has a screen recorder function, and it’s free.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

I tried XSplit, and it creates a lot of lag, especially on Lego Worlds. And I’m not sure I want to spend $40 on a screen recorder right now. ‘’

QuickTime screen recorder is free on Mac I think, but you have to pay for it on PC :frowning:
