Day 7: The Ending We Need And Deserve
After a bit of thought and reviewing, it was decided Lucius Rey was the most logical suspect. “This weapon is yours, isn’t it?”
Lucius smirked. “Of course. It was too big a giveaway, so I stashed it here.”
“So you confess to being a Hero, and killing our people?”
“Of course. Now, now, before you go shooting me up like my erstwhile comrades, give me a moment to talk. You see, I may be a Hero in theory, but I’m coming to rather like being like this. I may have killed Hutere and Robbie, but between the two, my attitude has shifted. Robbie only had to go because he could have found me out, and because he’s a miserable excuse for a villain. This system deserves a better class of criminal, and I’m gonna give it to them. Now, who will join me?”

In an isolated place elsewhere in that asteroid cloud, a dark figure chuckled menacingly. “All according to plan…”

Epilogue
Then Lucius was stabbed from behind. “What?” He asked, before his circuits began shorting out.
“Sorry,” said one of the other villains, “But we can’t have someone like you calling the shots. If you killed Robbie because he’s a ‘bad villain’ what’s to say you won’t do the same to us?”

In the end, they never figured out why they were brought together, and split up to pursue their normal villainous lifestyles like usual.
