Hero February: Eta IV

Hey y’all, I’ve got some more Mocs from my archive to share. I still have a couple others in the back log, but since it is HeroFebruary, there’s no better time than now to post them. Anywho, this is my team of Heroes, while I have dubbed Eta IV, as there are four of them, and I feel like Eta is an under appreciated Greek letter. Anyway, without further ado, let’s get into it.

Let’s start out with some familiar faces:
First up, we have Henry Phosphorus, the sniper, whom I believe is unchanged from his debut. Admittedly I don’t feel like posting a link to is original topic, but feel free to check it out if you can find it.

Henry was a hot shot sniper who thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. His chassis, weapons, and gear were originally made to be a strictly superior version of the up-and-coming star William Furno. This put a lot of pressure on him to be good, and frankly he thrived from the attention. However, one day his hot-headed cockiness got his whole team wiped out, and though he was the sole survivor, it looked like he was going to be retired, labeled as defective. That is until the leader of Eta five took him in to his team, along with two other misfits. Given a second chance by fate, he still has a large ego and thinks highly of himself. However, he has also learned the importance of loyalty, and would never dream of disobeying an order from his team leader unless he felt it absolutely necessary.

Next up, another familiar face. However, this one is new and improved: Zach Breacher, the muscle

Originally the leader of Upsilon VII team, aka “The Busters”, Zach Breacher has been on extended leave for a long time. After his whole team was wiped out by a hero trap, Henry had to take a long break from heroing, as his heroic spirit was broken. It didn’t help that his large size was incompatible with all the upgrades coming out, one after another. When the leader of Eta IV began looking for new members to recruit, Zach was the first hero to come to mind. Zach was initially uncertain about joining a new team, but the team leader reassured him and told him it was time to rejoin the force. After that, team leader special made a special order to upgrade Zach so that he was ready to take on the villains of the current age. Zach’s courage returned to him after he received his upgrade, and he is now a valued member of Eta IV team.

The third member is a hero that I have not posted on here, however I think he might be nearly as old as Henry phosphorus.
His name is Carson Daemon, the Strategist.

Carson Daemon was built around the 3.0 era and was purpose built for a very specific mission. You see, there is a planet that is home to a race of creatures who called themselves Demons, many of which become villains that the Hero Factory had to deal with. Daemon’s job was to infiltrate the planet and take out any Demons with aspirations of becoming villains before they could become a threat to the galaxy. It turned out that the culture of the Demon people was horribly violent and sadistic, making it no surprise why so many would become villains. Even so, living with these people for so long caused Daemon to begin to take on their mannerisms. Specifically, he began to enjoy the pain of his victims. When hero HQ realized how damaged his psyche had become from living with these monsters, they recalled him to hopefully fix him, as they valued his powerful tactical mind. Though he did improve some, trying to fix him completely turned out to be futile, and many of his sadistic tendencies remained. No team wanted to take on hero that was insane, and it began to look like Daemon would be turned into scrap. That is, until the leader of Eta five stepped in. He was the only hero willing to take in the deranged, sadistic monster that Daemon had become. An thus, the team Eta IV was formed. But now you might be asking, who is this mysterious leader? Let’s find out shall we

Here he is, finally, the Leader of Eta IV team: Godrich Falcon, the leader.

Godrich is a much older hero than the rest of the team. He was a rookie even before Preston Stormer of Alpha 1. He was very much the hot-headed, lone wolf type, which constantly got on the nerves of every hero he worked with. Even though he continued to climb the ranks, he was never allowed to teach rookies for fear of his brazenness wearing off on them. Then, the Galtron mission happened. Six hero teams were all sent to the planet Galtron to investigate and stop a bomb threat that claimed to be able to destroy the whole planet. Godrich was the first hero to find the bomber, who had made a tunnel to the planet’s core and was in fact about to destroy the planet. He rushed in to try and stop the bomber, but the bomber simply detonated the explosives, which ended up destroying most of Galtron and killing everyone on the planet. Everyone, that is, except for the bomber and Godrich. You see, the bomber had planned to destroy the planet from inside, but didn’t want to give the heroes enough time to stop the bomb while he escaped, so he developed a shield that would perfectly protect him from the explosion. Godrich managed to get partially protected by said shield. Even so, he sustained massive damage, and the bomber got away.

It took several days for a rescue team to get out to Galtron where they found the mangled body of Godrich, still alive, though barely. They brought him back to HQ, where it took nine months to fully restore his operating systems. This is when they learned that Godrich had been aware the entire time. From drifting through the ruins of Galtron, to the nine months of reconstruction, Godrich’s mind had been aware for that entire time. After a year of self reflection and therapy, Godrich finally decided to rejoin the force. But this time, he wanted to make his own team. He wanted to take heroes like him, outcasts and hotshots, under his wing, and mold them into a perfect team. And that’s exactly what he did. His once hot-headed attitude had resolved into strict, militant discipline, that he used to mold his recruits into a powerful fighting force. This lone wolf and finally found his pack, and he would lead it with excellent skill. Now, Eta IV was one of the greatest hero teams in the galaxy, but you would never had heard of them. And this is just how (most of them) like it, as they think media attention distracts from their duty. However, the people that do know them are grateful for it, as they are the ones who have been helped and saved by Eta IV.

Hope you like this Mocs, and throttle story I whipped up for them on the spot. Frankly, I’m quite proud of all of them, though I’d have to say Zach is my all time favorite of the bunch. Tell me what y’all think! Alright, that’s it, laters!

Edit: I almost forgot to post the group shot!!

What’s the reason behind the different foot colours?

Pretty sure I couldn’t find two feet of the same color, lol

Ah, fair enough.

Maybe you could “balance” the asymmetry by making other armour parts opposite colours as well.
