Hiding/unlisting posts?

After a few years of inactivity, I decided to start posting back on this place. Probably not as often as, say, 2022, but enough that I actually do wanna check back from time to time. The thing is, that I’ve made some posts that I’m not exactly proud of in hindsight, mocs that either don’t live up to a current arbitrary standard or things that are honestly really questionable to me. On any other site, I’d just delete the posts in question, but this site doesn’t let me do that.

That would’ve been the end of it, but I came across a notification about some comment I left on a post receiving a like and I saw this:

Which makes me wonder how posts get unlisted and whether or not I can toggle that setting myself. I was able to find no info anywhere on the site, so I figured asking yall would be the next best thing.

First off, welcome back

Secondly, if you tell us in a PM which topics you want deleted or flag the topics in question, we can get them deleted for you. Regarding the unlisting/relisting, those are things usually done automatically by the boards’ internal system, with unlisting usually happening if a topic gets flagged soon after creation. Why/how it got relisted, I’m not sure.

That particular topic was edited by the topic creator and the site assumed the edit corrected the reason for flagging (it was off-topic). Usually when I want topics of mine deleted I flag the first post, although sometimes after flagging them nothing ever happens. :/
