Hello! Here’s my entry into the contest, glad I managed to make it!
Hello, and welcome to my entries into the Toa Hagah Canon Contest!
To prepare for this task, I first read through every canon appearance of the Hagah, including their quotes in the Rahi Guidebook, taking notes as I went of character traits, feats of strength they performed, and other things that would help me make their appearance stay true to how they acted in the story.
Some Hagah, like Kualus and Bomonga, had fairly definitive characters. Others, like Pouks and Gaaki, had relatively less screen time, allowing me to be more creative with my interpretation of them.
To give a general overview of the design philosophy I followed with my Hagah, I aimed to give the whole team a similar build diversity to the Mahri or Mata, my favorite Toa teams. I tried my best to do unique thing…

Sorry for being yet another late entry.
Good luck to all the contestants!
[Hagah Group 3]
Better late than never! I originally aimed to enter these about two weeks ago, but thanks to a combination of boring life stuff and good ol’ procrastination, I never got around to finishing them until last night.
My overall goal for these was to make them as cohesive with Norik and Iruini as possible, and to my mind’s eye, that meant having them share builds with one another. If you care for more reasoning on this, for a real life explanation, I remain convinced that that’s how it would have been done in 2005 had we gotten the remaining four Hagah. As for an in-universe explanation, the way I see it, their armor is their uniform, metallic and non-metallic alike. Even though the Hagah came from all over the universe and would reasonably look different from one another, the…

Here are my entries for Bomonga, Pouks, and Kualus.
These are my renditions of the Toa Hagah. Bomonga had to be made digitally as my printer started having issues while the contest was going on.
Toa Hagah Bomonga the Procrastinated
[Toa Hagah Bomonga (dyanmic)]
Bababooey was a very interesting experience for me. I made him as a part of a collaboration between @Minirigby and @Galva_Nize . Babingus is based off Makuta Teridax’s 2003 design. Prior to the contest I had a rather generic representation of Boingoingo, and I pretty much worked my current version from the ground up. I procrastinated a ton on Bingzak’s design because of stress (mostly stemming from difficulty using Studio, and my printer fritzing out). The Underscored Double helped me get in gear as the other two members of the collab were already done. I got him all built in one …

Will the list be updated tonight or tomorrow? Just want to make sure my entry is fine. I think everything has been posted that needed to be verified and all that. It’s my first time entering the contest so I have that first time anxiety.
Almost forgot to post here!
Here’s Kualus.

The main inspiration for this guy after pretty much not wanting to do anything for this contest was me sticking the rocka 3.0 hat onto a metru torso, which combined with the fact that an axle fits through the mouthhole of the former, made me inspired to further complete the man. The use of the roborider wheel holder as a skirt was also a fun on…
Here’s my submission for Kualus.
Should’ve done earlier, but here it is!
Finally, I am glad to present my MOCs of Gaaki, Bomonga, Kualus and Pouks.
I wanted to say that there is a bunch of interesting stuff and explanations in the text, so I recommend and ask to read it (I’ll try to be short, honestly ).
Let us begin…
Overall Points The biggest bulk of text in this post. Some concepts, shared by my entries:
Miramax Movie Secondary Colors. Each of my Toa uses the color that appeared on their Rahaga form heads (cheeks and stripe in the middle) in the Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows. I got inspired. More details in each entry’s section.
Consistency. They all have different eye colors, Spears, lower legs, same Black color distributions. This not a through-and-through tendency though, as it is not known which Entries will win, so Consistency depends more on th…
So I might as well add mine:
Here are my propositions to the Canon Contest #3: Honor Guard .
General outlines:
All have identical basic Metru build, as the 2 released Toa Hagah.
All parts that had specific elemental colour were used in respective models in appropriate shades, with exception of Pouks, which I deceided to take inspiration from Norik, which had black torso and coloured neckguard.
In general all black parts present in Iruini have been kept black in all my entries with exception of Bomonga, because he’s black so to add variety I used dark bluish grey joints, as are in Toa Metru.
Each Toa Hagah has unique armour colour to be distinct from one another.
I tried to keep the parts within available colours, but it was not always possible, for example for Bomonga I chose Copper and I think no parts used are …
Here’s mine. Sorry for being a bit last-minute.
Here is my entry for Toa Hagah Kualus. It was a long and arduous process, but the result could’ve turned out worse. Yes, I took heavy artistic inspiration from Randy Eliott and the '05 comics with the general hatching and absence of cross axle patterns. It was a bit of a learning experience, to say the least. The silhouetted Rahi in the background are, indeed, Ice Bats. I’d imagine they’d have Keelerak pincers for wings to get that 2005 look, but this competition isn’t about canonizing Rahi designs-- they’re just for show.

And here is the respective Kanohi.

I should quickly clarify that “Lavaman” is another nickname I go by, if you didn’t already dra…

I enter:
Hi all!
Some of you may recall the Kualus I built back in 2018 for the G1 Toa Teams Community MOC Project .
With a rebuild, refinement and an update in order to fit with the new rules, my old, fluffy bird boy is back and better than ever!
This version plays off the fact that the Toa Hagah each had an affinity for a different kind of rahi. Kualus in particular had a love for flying rahi, and I wanted to integrate that into his design.
For the purposes of this contest, my submission is the digital version of this MOC, made in Stud.io .
I’ve included shots of a physical prototype as well, but as that one does not have full colour parity with the digital version it’s just to help with the breakdown shot, height comparison, and to show some poses more realistically.
A full instructions PDF …
The birds are coming the birds are coming the birds are coming the birds-
(Also sorry for being last minute. I didn’t think I’d have been able to enter mine at all until I got some help last night)

Here is my entry for all four.
Better late than never, I say! This is the first Bionicle MOC contest I’ve entered since 2006, tbh, so it was fun to hunt down what pieces I had and get to building like I did as a kid.
Without further ado…
Bomonga
[pose1]
This was the first model I built and my favorite (alongside Gaaki). I typically associate Toa of Earth with short and bulky designs, and while I kept that for the arms and armor I felt like the Rahkshi legs were a better fit, even if they made Bomonga on the tall end for an Onu-Toa.
Below, you can see the poses, the size comparison, and the breakdown.
