Hordika Vakama: Regenerated

“You can’t betray someone you’re enslaved to. I lead only those that choose to follow. That’s the difference between being a leader, and a tyrant, like you. A certain Toa taught me that.”

I present to you, gathered friends, Hordika Vakama: Regenerated; a revamp, if you will. Majorly inspired by his Miramax design from the Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows movie, I gave Vakama a stylized transformation.

I’ve given his legs a little more reasonable(?) proportions, and redesigned his Rhotuka Spinner to actually fold in while still being functional.

Additionally, I built his Combat Staff from the playsets.

Super great stuff here, especially in the weapons. It’s also nice to see a digital moc posed well.

How’d you make the weapons and will you be making more

It’s great to see the combat staff from the playsets being referenced, and the arm with the fire-claw-thing has some pretty cool shaping.

Ah, yes, Hordika Vakama revamps, which are unironically and inexplicably some of my favorite BIONICLE creations ever. This looks absolutely awesome. The arms, torch, and combat staff are especially excellent!

Bit of a necropost, but I wanted to say the shoulder articulation and foot arrangement are simple but brilliant tricks to naturalize the set. Of course, I agree with all the above sentiments as well. Nice job on this Synnova, it looks genuinely amazing.
