HowTo: MOC Tutorials

So I’ve decided to post a how-to for my MOC Eekum Bokum!

Feel free to use the designs showed in this, I just ask to be mentioned and credited so I can see what people make!

PLEASE NOTE:

This uses some specific colored parts (some are not available at all). The specific parts of mention are the Black Hordika Necks. You can use regular Hordika necks and be just fine. Other than that, all these parts are very easy to come by!

Enjoy!

I’m trying to design a torso that looks somewhat like this and I need some help.

Heya.

A while back I posted my Makuta MOC (it was awful btw) in that one topic for Makuta contest entries. People freaked over the mask of ultimate power that I made, and I said I would make a how-to on it.

Well, I decided to be lazy and never rebuild the mask. However, I intend to remedy that soon and wanted to know 1. Who here is still interested in that, 2. should I make a whole new topic for it, and 3. should I make a youtube video of it.

Take care,

Be warned, lego pieces were cut in the making of this MOC. Many of which are not necessary for the torso design itself, they’re just for my self-MOC to be my ideal version.

This custom torso design was originally based off of @Shadowgear6335’s “Circuit” MOC.

Note: The two ccbs bones that were cut in this How To, already had a cracked socket joint, so I couldn’t use them normally.

I hope you may have found this useful if you were looking for a medium sized custom torso design.

music from the video = 0/10

but the moc looks nice, the colorscheme is pretty consistant the hip looks kinda weird tho, It’s way to narrow

It’s a very common hip design, so it doesn’t bother me personally. But I know what you mean.

I happen to enjoy the music.

I mean that part that connects the torso to the waist, I would put a tire around it or something

That would hinder the waist articulation, which I have no interest in doing.

hey, I havent checked back through here yet (I honestly dont feel like wading through 900+ posts) but is there a nice female torso design anyone has? I need one that is well proportioned, uses nuva-beewbs, has wais articulation and can connect to a hf 1.0/glatorian head.

anyone?

(But seriously, why?)

because I have the peices, and I think that, if done right, they can look good. also they are just easy.

Hey kids! Ever get any of those cool galidor pieces but never found a way to use them? Are the connections inside of them incompatible with the parts you already own? Well, you’re in luck! With this handy dandy Galidor Limb Adapter™ using galidor parts to create things will be a cinch!

I think I see some heresy in that image but I’ll let it slide.

Most pieces are in colours they don’t actually have been released in. Also, Idk how to upload .lxf files (someone please tell me how to).

Do tell if any bit of it is unclear. I can imagine the back might be very hidden for one thing. It could still work as inspiration though, I guess.

How did you get the lower torso to work?

What kind of scale are you looking for?

i’d say a bit bigger than a toa inika or something like that

that’s pretty good but sadly i don’t have the parts make it

You might be able to upscale this design.
