HowTo: MOC Tutorials

And here’s that leg design I mentioned. :stuck_out_tongue:
It’s going on a MOC that I’m still in the process of building and will hopefully be able to show off fairly soon.

The legs are identical, so the images below will only provide instructions on how to build one. Remember to double what you see and click on the images to enlarge!

We’ll start with the upper leg. You will require these pieces.

And there you have it, the thigh!

Now for the lower leg. You will require these pieces and a dose of patience.

We’ll be using this later.

I’m a bit of an idiot for forgetting to include this in the previous images, but you can just plonk it in like so.

Voila! A fairly simple leg design. I hope someone finds this useful!

Anything on how to make those fingered hands I see on a lot of MOCs?

The way I do it involves Exo-Force robot arms and T-sticks. I’ll try and get a close up shot up at some point.

it’s just a matter of opinion. i,personnaly, think matorans/protectors should be around this size.

What’s the difference! :grinning:

jk i luv ya ek

But I will agree that it is a very feminine frame, with the hips being the same width as the shoulders and all. I’m also not a fan of the legs, since humans generally have longer lower legs than upper legs.

But yeah, that’s just my opinion.

Yeah, these bones on legs should be flipped, which wouldnmake more sense looking at humanoid figure

it is female: TtvPodcast.com is for sale | HugeDomains

flipping the leg bones would hinder her articulation because of the bigger upper leg armor

@BioRaiders532

Edited for double post. Please refrain from doing so again.

Quick tip: Show a pic of the completed model/assembly at the very beginning. It’ll help people get a sense of what you’re showing from the very beginning.

So those who make similar hands like @Creep what pieces do you use to attach the “fingers” to?

If you mean thumb, usualy people use T-Shaped pneumatic part

Another common piece for connecting the thumb is the tap piece, which also comes in a variety of colours.

I didn’t mean just the thumb
@Creep, @Rando thank you for the information
