You know while reading through the latest posts I couldn’t help thinking what would happen if we visited them
There are tons of other clusters of planets and/or stars that are in-between the gas clouds. The things you circled were stars, 7 of them to be exact. Ignoring all of them to focus on seven that you group as three doesn’t make sense. You also didn’t go around the actual gas clouds and instead drew them slightly warped to make it look like they were in the ‘w’ shape. In addition, once again, the star system of Bionicle had three planets, not several clusters of stars in the middle.
Its just people seeing what they want to see. You and others want it to look like the Bionicle symbol so despite it having multiple other stars and gas clouds that do not actually resemble the gas cloud design of the Bionicle star system, everyone is passing it off as if its an exact replica and hyping over it like crazy. Though admittedly its kind of like people making star signs, they see what they want to see;

They are a collection of stars, not planets and chances are they have actually burnt out long ago and that we’re just seeing the after-images.
Guys!
Get as much people as you can to sign this!
@Scarilian pointed out why it doesn’t look like the system. Trying to rename it to some obscure toy-line’s universe just doesn’t make sense.
Guys, guys, guys, this topic is funny…
can anyone just admire the beauty of this picture.
@Scarilian what I and at was what if there was a way to visit solos magna then what we what happen
Yes, anyone can. There’s no rules saying who can and can’t.
I’ve seen this before, that’s the first thing I thought too
No, no, and no. This petition is stupid and this is not what Change.org is for.
Alright, fair enough. I have to admit, now that I am looking at the image rotated, you kind of have to stretch your imagination to see Spherus Magna. My final take on it is this: There is a resemblance at first glance, but when you really start looking at it and analyzing it, it looks nothing like spherus Magna. There, I’ve spoke my mind.
I also really like the constellation comparison.
We want to see stuff like Vega, the little dipper, and Ursa minor. But in reality, it’s a massive coincidence.
Either way, I am keeping this image up on DA: I WANT TO BELIEVE IN BONKLES by ChaoticTempleKnight on DeviantArt It cracks me up.
I know I kind of derailed the hype train earlier, but now it’s going right off the rails. We are allowed to have a little fun and excitement. A dash of realism is necessary, but too much just squashes all fun. It doesn’t look exactly like the Solis Magna system, but BIONICLE does take some leaps in logic. Why can’t we?
While yes, this is true, we need to keep ourselves grounded in reality. Let’s face facts, this nebula looks nothing like spherus Magna. The resemblance is only at first glance.
I’m editing this post becuz the sight is saying I’m posting too much in the topic. Anyways:
Wasn’t saying you couldn’t have fun. I’m just saying stay grounded in reality to the people who are getting over hyped.
Fair enough. But that is not a galaxy… it’s a nebula.
I guess so, but this is not what Change.org is for.
The only time I’ll be happier than I am now is if they make a Republic Commando movie
I mean, let’s be real here for a second. We all know that Spherus Magna is fake, and that Bionicle is fiction. However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t have some fun with this. IMO, this galaxy does closely resemble Spherus Magna, and it would be awesome to have it be named as such.
yeah I total agree it would be awesome and a really nice homage to fans of the line
Well how else do will we name this?
We will not name it.
We don’t.
This is the equivalent of naming a new chemical after an obscure sitcom.
I totally I agree with slime here. If you don’t think it looks like it or think it’s stupid to try and name it after Solid Magna, that’s fine. But there’s really no reason other people can’t have some fun and try. There’s about 10,000 galaxies viable from earth, maybe more in the future, having one get a name from a more obscure fandom isn’t a huge deal, it would just be kind of cool and I’d personally like to see it.
Or naming a protein after a Pokemon.
Oh wait…
