Actually, the predecessor to Kohlii, said “Koli”, was a lot like human soccer. Pohatu even came with a circular stone that he could kick like a soccer ball.

I used to set up my Bionicles playing Basketball, football, etc. all the time; I set them up in a band too. Thok was always the drummer, Avak was on keyboard, Reidak was the percussionist, Zaktan and Hakann played the guitar/bass, and Vezok was the soloist.

I would agree that Koli is very like Soccer. and Kohlii is very much like Lacrosse and the Irish sport Hurling.
