Inktober 2024

The evil Doctor Ocular, who I just made up on the spot but now really like this design. I might just be making up a rogues gallery for Blue Moon through this inktober lol.

Not quite the prompt but I figured I would submit another character today. Ever just create a single superhero design and then a lot of villains follow behind it and just spontaneously make a rogues gallery? Has been happening to me this week. I feel like a kid again with my Emerald-Man foes.

Trek was a hard one, but i like how this one turned out. Though whoever is holding this map sure ain’t human, not with that thumb. I bet he’s a gnome.

He’s a photorealistic minifigure, clearly. The little devil guy in the corner is a fun detail too!

Some of these details are probably made up.

This was one character I wished would take a hike in Spider-Man comics during the 80s. Started off fantastic but they kept his mystery going too long, and because there were too many cooks in the kitchen, had the most dissatisfying ending. Terrible!

Since “hike” is so similar to “trek”, i decided to use a different meaning of the word. This one was hard, the only one i scrapped and redrew multiple times – took me 7 tries to get something decent.

Yes, i know it’s more of a skirt than a dress, but i wrote dress, in ink, and i am not redrawing it an eighth time to fix it. Also, somehow my attempt at drawing high-heeled shoes looks more like boots than my earlier attempts at boots. So i have decided they are hiking boots, she is going on a hike and that is why she’s hiking up her skirt. Maybe she’s going with the gnome from day 6.

Well, yes, that is supposed to be a picture of me, but it is also just a generic “girl”.

I figured the opposite of the moon is the sun and Blue-Moon needs a sun-based supervillain. Prompt was about the sun today too. It all works together doesn’t it?

so this is who caused it

Wasn’t sure what to do for this one, until i remembered the bill Wurtz line. Pretty simple, but i couldn’t think of much to add to it.

Pretty simple one today, but i like how it turned out, especially since it was done with no reference. The cartoonishly large feet is a reference to him saying “I’ve got big feet” in the Kyoshi episode, and definitely not a result of me drawing the feet first and then making the rest of him smaller than i thought i was going to.

Is there a Marvel character called Nomad? Yes. But I wanted to draw Marvel’s true nomad, the cursed Bruce Banner who has to deal with his inner demons, the Hulk.
