Hi, everyone 
I was a very active member of this community around 2013-2015, the creator of a pretty embarrassing stop-motion fanseries about certain members of TTV, and (if i remember correctly–I was 13 then and I don’t know if I could handle revisiting it) a rather obnoxious guest host on an episode of the podcast.
I’ve recently been revisiting my old interests as an adult, and I have a lot of fond memories of the TTV podcast and the broader online Bionicle community from that time of my life, so I thought I’d make a post and see if anyone remembers me. Mods, feel free to let me know if this is the wrong header to post this under. I’m sure things have changed a lot since I was a teenager.
I’m a little sad to see I was pretty rude to other users back in the day, and embarrassed to think about the way I idealized the TTV folks–some of whom were only a few years older than me–and treated them like celebrities in ways I’m sure made them uncomfortable.
Obviously, I’ve changed a lot–I went from a dweeby teenaged boy who was really desperate to seem cool online to an adult woman (yes, some stereotypes are true :P) with a lot more real-life friends and fewer insecurities. I feel like I never showed much appreciation for the people in this community, and I’d like to offer my thanks now for being patient with a younger me who was going through a lot and had a lot to prove.
Anyways, my name is River, but if anyone remembers me it would be by this username or my edgy OC “Farathorn Worldcrusher.” I’d love to reconnect with anyone who knew me back then, and to anyone who doesn’t, just know I appreciate this community still being around. Be excellent to each other.

Hi @frodobell, welcome back around! I’ve only been here four months or so, so we’ve never met, but I think we’ll get along just fine! I always appreciate someone who can wear past mistakes on their sleeve and try to learn from it; any community would be fortunate to have someone like that added to their ranks.
Anyways, enjoy your time here, we’ll see you again soon!

Hello!
My name is Nova Nuva. I got into Bionicle back in 2006 or so, and quickly it became my childhood (niche) franchise. I never actually participated much in the online community aspect of things back then; I just collected sets, read the books, and watched some of the OG Biotubers in their day. Around 2013/2014, I quietly left the franchise as my life became preoccupied with high school and other things.
I finally got back into Bionicle in February. After spending months following a few Biogram pages, I decided I wanted to reconnect with it myself. And thus, I opened the bin that had sat untouched for nearly a decade, and revived my childhood love. Now… I’m here, with a happy heart and not-so-happy wallet.
My main focus has been my Instagram page, where I’ve posted MOCs and begun crafting an AU of my own. Now I’m finally getting around to branching out to other platforms, so I can further my connection with the community. I’m eager to share my stories and characters, and engage with other members of the community!
(And yes. That is Toa Solek in my pfp. There will be no Solek slander on my page, none at all!

Also, why is Solek considered controversial?
in a nutshell: someone said solek isn’t good and then people started a cult, there was some memes, and then some simping, and then war and then the name of solek was forever ruined
