I think a post about my selfMOC would probably be the best first post on here.
Backstory:
He was originally a part of a team of Hero Factory Heroes that specialized in exploratory missions, originally operating under the name Gnocchi. His last known exploration mission was into the Digital World where he encountered all sorts of bizarre creatures who called themselves Digimon. When he and his team, got back, however, the Hero Factory was in ruins, and he was taken prisoner on a Decepticon warship.
It was there that he met a golden scorpion-like robot that helped him free his teammates and escape, but his pod was quickly found out.
After his pod was hit, he crash-landed onto Spherus Magna, separated from his team. Bits of liquid cyber matter leaked into his core, turning him half cybertronian.
He was able to acquire some forms to help stabilize his body, and befriend some of the locals. Sadly, remnants of Makuta’s forces were still at large trying to suck the power from them. Thankfully, he was able to defend them, earning Artakha’s recognition.
For years, he fought to protect the village, but one day his body began to destabilize. Turns out quaza and cybertonium did not get along, and he couldn’t acquire any more alt modes to stabilize his body. Luckily, Artakha had the mask of life nearby and used it to give him a new body.
Now a full-fledged Toa of Lightning despite the Great Beings being hesitant about it because of his gender, Toa Renn still continues to fight for the Spherus Magna villagers alongside the native Toa. At the same time, he’s also looking for a way to find his former teammates after all these years. He even keeps his hero core on him to remind him of who he really is no matter what.
Equipment:
Great Dragon Crossbow: serves as his primary tool. Capable of firing powerful blasts of lightning, focused blue lasers, and had an energy blade function.
Thunder Shieldbrander: his secondary tool. Also possesses a blade function, and can convert into a pair of Storm Wings for flight and additional speed, and a Lightning Rod that he mainly uses as a tonfa.
Kanohi Ambra: a custom Kanohi based on his original helmet, this mask enables him to sense his environment via surrounding electrical stimuli.
