Could there be any negative consequences in general, or does the Mask of Creation not really work based on willpower? If it does work on willpower, if you didn’t have enough willpower, would you be unable to use it at all, or unable to use it properly?

If you don’t have proper control over the mask, you could accidentally create things you don’t want to:
