Jang has become one of those who only cares about the views

As a view point, maybe; considering he overshadow some other review channel like The Brick Show. But in reality, he’s just a dude who post stuff that he want, if he were to grab attention, he would make a bunch of Top 10 and take a vase amount of request.

However, in Jang recent post, he tried to grab views is from the Fidget Spinner moc, however he quoted this on his blog:

One of these days, I promise myself, I will stop being such a hard-headed contrarian when it comes to things I consider to be fads. Every single time some new concept goes effectively viral world-wide, I avoid it like the plague, for fear of somehow losing creativity and initiative. That’s dumb of me, and I know this, and I’ve known it for a long time, and yet I continually refuse to change. Argh.

It sounds like he regret making that video, but he done it anyways…

TL:DR: The only reason why he maintain a fork ton of views is due to his high-quality/unique review styles and MOCs, not just focusing on popular themes that isn’t constraction.

well I think he said in one video or his blog that he wouldn’t be spending more time on ultrabuilds videos because not many people watch it

He reduce his time with constraction because it consume his time, not the viewers:

Bionicle was no longer worth my time. First I cut back on the most time-consuming segment of my review videos, then I cut it out entirely to make more time to produce the content that so many more of you ask for every day. Most recently, though, with one arm I held a big plastic tub under my Bionicle display shelf, and with the other arm, emptied said shelf into said tub with one big swipe.

He still review license figures since they don’t need a concept considering Lego didn’t make the character, they’re just a replica of an existing character to sell.
