For an example, if a mask maker puts together a disk with a power level of 1 and a disk with a level five power, which number does it go with? Alternatively, would it calculate the resulting number with a formula?

Greg’s only answer has been “they don’t do that.”

If they do, the result is unstable and explodes. Or something else bad happens. Which is why they “don’t do it”.
