To be fair, Karzahni has been stated to be able to rebuild himself, just like he does with his Matoran.
Although that would have to be a very substantial rebuild to get from this form to his form in World. I think the intention behind him rebuilding himself was to explain why he changed colours, not a whole new body type and limb count.
As for Artakha: we don’t know what he looks like. That’s why this is in the contest. Who are we to say that Artakha cannot look like this?
Ok, I can appreciate this style of construction. The tentacle arm and the little matoran is such a nice detail.
The horns seem to me unnecessary but I understand it is an important feature from the canon appearance.
