Katara, Toa of Water

The leader of Izumi’s team (Izumi, Toa of Fire)

I had my Faxon laying around and wanted to use it for something, which led to Katara

Nice staff, like the articulating waist, wheel arch shoulders and greebled system areas. The incorporation of the very light blue is really great but I think some of that could be tidied up, like there is five colours at the moment and I just think maybe some of the grey could go.

A bit too blocky for what I personally like water themed mocs to be… but I like the build by itself a lot.

@cynic1987 Thank you! And they are indeed Avatar references. Get ready for Aang, Toa of Air

@Axelford Thank you! Yeah, it definitely needs a bit of adjustements. Once I have a few more parts I’ll see what I can do. I had to really think of how to not make this one look incomplete lol. Originally, I wanted to use no grey or silver, but alas.

@MakutaKirakh Thank you! Definitely agree, I like water MOCs to look watery. That said, the lore of Katara and her team is that they were created after the Mata Nui vs Makuta battle by Matoran (long story), so they are supposed to look more artificial, more robotic in a way, so I allowed myself a bit of blockiness on each of them.

a bit blocky, but overall nice. the weapon is a cool design.

Very unique design, looks very tough and bulky. I also really like the weapon design.

That trident design is really cool.

like the color scheme. very creative use of system parts. you love to see it. I have at times used system parts in my MOCs more out of necessity when I dont have enough parts in a color, but you definitely used system parts in bonks way better than I ever did well done

this is incredible, I absolutely adore this build, though I suggest adding reinforcement like a 3l lift arm or something to behind the ankle on the foot and maybe if you have some circular mini figure accessories for the side holes of the mask, but the mask is already fitting for the to the moc sp that’s just a mater of preference

Nice! I like everything except the arm can’t extend forward due to the shoulder plates. Still, good stuff :+1:

DAang son, this Mai be the best WATER TRIIIIIBE MOC I’ve seen. It’s Irohnically better than most of the Helryx submissions, which is a Toph standard to beat.

No hair loopies, 0/10.

I really like pretty much all of this. The blocky shoulder armor is neat, the torso build is cool, and the color scheme, especially at the kneepads, is fantastic!

Just realized the name too with the fact that she’s a water Toa, Avatar reference?

@Alucia Yup!!

Nice moc there, a little too similar to Hahli but still pretty good. Maybe change the limbs or feet to make her more her own character? Other than that, I like the torso construction and the integration of System parts.

Now we need Aang Toa of Air, Toph Toa of Earth, Zuko Toa of Fire, Sokka and Suki, Toa of FAN AND SWORD!
