Kinfall - Island of Prophets

Yep.

It’s me again with yet another project.

######Welp :b.

So, Kinfall.

The remake of my oldest unfinished project.

Kinfall is my personal take on the Bionicle lore, aiming to make a new universe, with new rules, history and lore, but keeping the old Bionicle terms we’re used to.

I’ll keep writing the lore, and publish it as it comes!

Leave your thoughts on the project, every criticism is good criticism !

Also if you’d like to contribute to it, in any way you can. Feel free to tell me.

love the island, which program did you use? also, any one else see the iron man mask in the bottom right corner? and will you be using terms like makuta and ad mata nui?

Thanks!, i used GIMP.

Mata nui and Makuta don’t have anything to do here, neither do Matoran.

However terms like Toa, Rahi and Kanohi will be present.

Love it!

I looks like a face

###UPDATE!

Inhabitants and Regions.

Inhabitants:
Morate (Villager/Citizen)

The Morate are the main inhabitants of the island, they work, build and maintain the 4 cities around the island. They’re small in stature, but they don’t need any heroes to watch over them. They are strong, relentless and powerful enough to take care of themselves. They’ve been in the island, taking care of everything by themselves for over a century, since they first arrived from the distant Felnus.

They don’t trust most foreigners outside their cities. The Morate are people you can count on, they always watch over each resident of the city and help eachother when in danger.

Koluso (Giants)

The original inhabitants of the island, once great and almighty, now alone and wandering in the wilds. The Koluso were here before the Morate came, watching the island since its creation, they had tribes and small villages, travelling around the island in huge groups. However, the climtae conditions and the earthquakes have killed almost every Koluso in Kinfall. The Morate even offered them some refuge in the past, but these giants aren’t used to be in contact with strangers, so they eventually left the cities. Since then, the frozen drifts of the Mt. Jol is the only place in which they can reside.

The Morate haven’t seen another Koluso in almost 3 decades, they consider them to be extinct.

Motusk

The inhabitants of the Darkwood island. Similar to the Morate, the Motusk came from another place, a series of unknown islands and archipielagos far west. Little is known about their culture, due to its isolation and the little interaction outside Darkwood. They are hunched, tall, humanoid-like people. They are very reserved and haven’t shown any sense of hostility towards the Morate or its cities. Few people can’t say that they’ve seen one in the mainland, and even less can say that they’ve talked to one. The Motusk don’t seem evil, contrary to the popular belief.
Regions:
Libertina

The smallest region of all Kinfall. Libertina is composed of highlands, dense forests and small tundra in the north, and extends from Lightpoint in the very north, to the beginning of The Rift in the southwest. Libertina holds a small variety of Rahi such as the Kin-Mehe and the Furokal, it’s also the only region that has frozen plains and glaciers on its landscape. The capital of Libertina is Libertia, the city of law, education, study and history. There’s also the largest crystal mines in all Kinfall, aptly named ‘‘The Crystal Disposal’’. There’s also the Protopuris Mines, a small mining village composed of Morate of Libertia and Vaunia, Those mines connect with all the island’s main cities. The Morate of Libertina are named Liberne.

Drafenia

Located in the very southeast of Kinfall. The region of Drafenia features the biggest variety of landscapes in the island. With dense forests to the north, plains in the Southern areas and tropical beach in the coastline. Drafenia extends from The Rift, to the north to the city of Anumsia in the south. It has the most dangerous and fiercest Rahi of the island, such as the Grozon, the Gulian and the infamous Kuro Dragon. The capital of the region is Anumsia, the city of beauty, charm and battle, here the fiercest and bravest warriors of the island are trained. It also has the Rift, a mysterious ravine that goes all the way down to the charred caverns, and lava lakes of the Mt. Jol’s core. The Morate of Drafenia are named Dranume.

Turisa

The endless golden, Sands of the unforgotten and Desert of mysteries are some of the names given to this region. Turisa is located on the very south of Kinfall featuring canyons and caverns northeast and an endless desert known as the Kalama Desert to the south. it extents from the Jagged lands in the north to the city of Tanmesia to the south. Turisa’s dunes are large, wide and the sand is warm, some Rahi like the Repsuli, the Rago-Jaga and the Beuy love these conditions. The capital city of the region is the maginificent Tanmesia, center of commerce, city of the million flavors and dagger of the island, is located in the south of Turisa, in the gulf of Perison. By being the oldest region in the island Turisa holds many secrets buried on the hot sands of the Kalama, some of the most known are the ‘Gate to the heart’, a huge door buried in the dunes nearby of the Mani Oasis. Some say the door leads to the center of the planet, others, that beneath the gate is the tomb of a big evil, though, nobody’s sure of its true purpose. The other is a huge citadel, hidden in the northern canyons, nobody goes there, they say it’s haunted by ancient ghosts, but again, nobody knows why is there. The Morate of Turisa are named Kalume.

Vegrenis

The wild east. largest region of Kinfall. Vegrenis composes of small hills in the frontier with Libertina in the northwest, dense tropical vegetation in the northern shoreline and eventually light jungle in the southeast. extends from the northern areas, in the frontier with Libertina to the southern jungle.
Vegrenis is known for being the only region of the island that has extense jungle. Even with the Morate exploring this area for around 5 decades, the dense jungle hides many creatures, yet to be discovered, some of the most common are the Turi Wasp, the Gau Koron and the Wooden Giants, a rare humanoid-like being made out of wood. The capital of the region is the city of Vaunia, a beautiful city located on the eastern coastline. Vaunia is known for being the nature-city of Kinfall, its hospitality, climate and location makes it the most visited city during the Summer. Even with almost 60 years of exploration, the Morate haven’t explored this dense citadel of vines, wood and leaves. The Morate of Vegrenis are named Vaniome.

The Kolujol Plains

Untouchable, untameable and mercyless are some synonyms that the Morate have given to center zone of Kinfall. The Kolujol plains are the bridge between the cities, unknown for most Morate explorers, these plains are (or were), the home of the mighty Koluso, the elder ones, those who came before. Its treathen with respect by the Morate of every region. it owes its name to the Mount Jol, the tallest mountain of Kinfall, and the Koluso that might dwell on them. These wildlands cannot be reclaimed, nor colonized by any Morate, according to the pact of the four powers. It’s home of many Rahi like the Varo Bear, the Guna-ashur and the Muaka. (Yes, Muaka.)

Darkwood Islands

Distant, Silent and definetly scary. The Darkwood island are the home of the Motusk. Nobody knows with certainty what dwells on it, or what kind of myteries it holds, nobody wants to disturb the Motusk and the explorers are way too afraid of that place to go and try establish communication with them.
Next chapter: Rahi, Flora and creatures!

Se y’all until then.
