Something about the angle of the bike and the perspective of the clouds/speedlines isn’t quite right, but I can’t put my finger on what it is exactly. Been staring at it for a while and I’ve still got no clue.
Regardless, nice work with this one! I don’t think that helmet is gonna help him very much in the event of a crash lol
Lancelot, Knight of Australia, Lord of the Highway.
I don’t have much to say about this, but i do like it, almost feels like someone’s custom d&d campaign.
This is really an awesome artwork you made. Love the perspective you made for the ground as well as the motorcyclist. Say will we get a halloween art later on?
The clouds are not going in a consistent direction, the clouds on the right particularly seem to be bending toward the rider, rather than being naturally stretched in the direction he is driving. It is very subtle, but you can see it, like you said.
Yeah I think I did accidentally do that. It felt satisfying from a movement standpoint but the internal logic doesnt hold
I have been meaning to ask, what brought you the idea of adding the shield on the back of his coat?
I wanted to get my own coat of arms as a patch on a jacket I have but haven’t been able to figure out the best way to do it, so as some wish fulfillment I drew another character with a similar thing
Also was this design based on the Hells Angels? That motorcycle gang.
It’s actually based on the historical epic wherein Lancelot slays the dragon of Corbenic that guards the holy grail, featured in Tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, after which he dons a personalized leather jacket and rides off into the sunset on his Pope Francis 2013 Harley Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide.
Note, this is before his illegitimate son Galahad had his gala.
No, just jackets and bikers in general
