Hello! Something very strange I noticed was that the krana are basically organic, living masks. But wait, the masks the Toa Inika wore organic versions of existing kanohi. Is there any form of relation between the two organic masks? (I know krana aren’t actual Kanohi, they just act kinda like it)

I believe that the krana are not masks but mask-like beings that are able to attach to the faces of MU inhabitants like a mask, they are independent and sentient but not actual masks. The inika masks are sentient but not independent and as they are organic versions of masks I find it hard that they are related even though they are veeery similar.
