Lego Bionicle MOC: Galna (Rahi)

Hello fellow compatriots to yet another MOC! This time I present to you my own custom rahi from the island of Artahka. Galna though bearing a similar name to that of Gafna, are not relatives. Rather, Galna are herbivores that are only aggressive if agitated. Yet not many predators dare to bother the creature from eating any and all vegetation. Its two small limbs are used for cutting down and tearing vegetation while in its bipedal configuration. Their bipedal form also allows them to traverse snowy and rocky terrain. It is also a means for them to escape from predators.

In its quadruped form, it can use its towering neck to reach the leaves in any neighboring trees. The third head also grants them thermal vision. This is so that it can keep a sharp eye on potential predators. Yet many do not dare to disturb the Galna. When threatened, the powerful large shovels used to dig for seeds can crush its enemies. In the ever changing enviroment in Artahka’s boarders, it relies heavily on its own innate abilities just to survive.

Those who do enter the island of Artahka sometimes confuse it with that of a doom viper when they see its red eyed serpent head amongst the trees. Only a few have ever been made by Makuta Kojol

That looks pretty cool, and I love that it can transform!

The technic heavy construction of your mocs does wonders to give them that Mata-Nui era feel to them that really helps with overall believability, and this is most definitely a fine example of that.

Thank you, I have been meaning to make some more rahi since the Kahu bird I did a while back. I am glad to hear that I executed the aesthetic well
