Hello fellow compatriots to yet another build! Or should I say multiple builds, as I am not revealing one figure, but four in one video! Each moc was made with the intention of what would these characters would look like unmutated and also had their native species expanded on. Now these builds in particular were made with simplicity in mind, as I wanted to reflect a similar aesthetic to some lego club magazine styled mocs but in a canister set scale. I hope you all don’t mind the lack of quantity. Though without any further to do let me introduce you to the Barraki. At least before they went by that name.
Ehlek’s species also known as the Mahdrox, are covered in various colored scales with fins on the sides of their head. Typically having webbed feet and hands. Known to be powerful warriors of land and sea, they are quite strong and athletic. Able to swim up waterfalls and leap high from the waters. Skewering prey with their sharp claws. Upon eating, they use their mandibles to break through thick shells and nuts. However in the beginning, the Mahdrox lived in harmony amongst the Skakdi. To a point where there was always a ritual between the two of exchanging food and resources. Where from the waters they will give sushi and art for various land harvested meals. Underground caverns and tunnels would soon be made to expand the water flows in-between the natural springs. As a result, they utilize underground water chutes to travel between these flower filled springs. Yet life changed for the skakdi however. The Mahdrox soon began having to use their claws for combat to defend themselves. Turning into tacticians due to their natural ability of hunting in groups and cartography. Furthermore, their mandibles would also be utilized for sharpening bone for makeshift knives and spears.
Kalmah’s species on the other hand is both familiar yet all the more alien. The Nadier are known to wear decorative armor and having additional small appendages on their arms. Tubes are typically attached to their head, drawing in air to aid them with breathing. They are a very analytical race however. Known to be quite blunt when it comes to conversing with others. Armed with various rotary tools they are flexible in most jobs. Originating from Stelt, the Nadier are proud of their works and commerce. Expressing a sub variant of the Matoran language throughout their armor outside of shapes and colors. It is a show of both skill in writing and their metal. But it wouldn’t be long until the change of climate in Stelt would lead them from markets selling their work to tourists, to running black market chains for gladiatorial arenas.
The Battloidz, also known as Pridak’s species, comprise a mostly mismatched composition of elements to create a humanoid form. The Battloidz are sentient golems. Typically preferring to have a disk in hand. Grown from crystallized Protodermis from the mountains of the southern islands, the Battloidz build their bodies over time from the various rocks before migrating down to the shores. Where they would collect various metals and wreckage to upgrade their frame from another neighboring island. Though incredibly strong, they are gentle beings. Always preferring to make temples and various structures. Including new bodies for new crystals to grow if they deem necessary. However, when Axonn arrived, the Battloidz had their first taste of what it means to rule. And since then they have grown to become fighters. Fighting over the most powerful disk in tournaments and changing the name of their people to better fit their new tradition. Yet once forming a body, they can no longer inhabit another as the metal/materials to make one is now part of their core. They can only add or replace components.
Takadox’s species is a bit of a tongue twister and for good reason. The Oulujamiwa are very spindly with long appendages. Despite their lack of physical appearance they are strong in mind. Possessing the ability to hypnotize. Therapists and psychologists of Keetongu’s homeland, the Oulujamiwa are revered for their high understanding of mental health. They believe that just like how the great spirit has different spheres of Chi throughout their body, so do those who inhabit him. They believe in balance of the spirit and as such they understand the importance of the mind. As much as Keetongu’s species understand the importance of the body. They also have a great love of botany, creating vast gardens across the landscape. The Oulujamiwa also have the ability to link their minds with one another as a form of communication between them yet lack the ability to do so with other species. As such, many beings have difficulty speaking their species name as it originated from thought instead of by mouth.
