Hello fellow compatriots to yet another build! This time we will be taking a look at my take on Turaga Lhikan. But more importantly, in the long awaited way for someone to make a proper lore accurate depiction of what a Turaga is in actuality. As a refresher Turaga are stated to be weaker versions of the Toa, only retaining half of the elemental capabilities from their previous form. Yet still having the ability to use Noble Kanohi Masks. Furthermore, a Turaga is usually taller than a Matoran on average. From a lay-man’s perspective, a turaga is like a “Super Matoran”.
So when it came to making Turaga Lhikan, I wanted to make sure that this isn’t your scrawny and frail being like many would depict a turaga to be. But a powerful seasoned warrior past their prime. This moc retains a lot of the traits of a classic Turaga build but updated. From using heads for feet, the elongated-ness of the torso, and even retaining an arm swinging feature. But with updated articulation. As well as dual purpose weapons for diverse playability. As his badge of office (transformed Toa tool) is his classic surfboard/double-bladed staff.
The arm swinging feature was something I wanted to feel like a downgraded Toa play-feature. Even going as far as adding a gear that has to be turned that starts a chain reaction of ligaments that causes the arm to swing. If you would like to see more Turaga in this style, feel free to let me know! as I have been having a lot of fun with this particular figure.

Well that is all for now, see you in the next cycle of creativity. Happy building and play well everyone!
p.s. feel free to share any changes you would like to see with this Turaga build in making it more universal. So far, different leg lengths can be done with this particular model. And the torso with some slight mods can include the Turaga Whenua look for having a head come out of the torso. But outside of that not much else for the frame
