Discuss here which Lego set box art fooled you into buying a terrible/flawed set or generally made you feel unsatisfied or tricked after building the actual set?
Obvious starters are Bruizer who sinfully tricked us into thinking that his bulky arm was poseable by hiding away that liftarm as well as tucking back his skinnier arm
and Fire Lord who tactically covered up his skeletal upper legs
I also thought that Thok had Mata Blue limbs rather than sky/baby blue, but that could just be mild colour-blindness
I always thought the toa nuva had bendable knees, and I didn’t get any or no one close to me had any so I had no reason to think otherwise. But then two years ago when I finally got some nuva sets, I was surprised to see that the knees didn’t bend.
