This was a collaborative MOC done by Galactic 2.0 and bmac4460 for the sole purpose of fun.
Info:
1 minifig
44 pieces (including minifig)
uses CCBS and System
Backstory:
The Paragon is an exo-suit of extreme power created in a technological laboratory. A mistake in the transportation of it allowed it to fall into the hands of a normal man who became Paragon.
It might add more wrist and foot poseability if you used one of the CCBS bones with the ball joint held between the two prong things. You know, the one with the gap. It would help with the hands at least.
this mech looks like it’s designed to be like the hulk buster, however due to lego’s inabilities and size inconsistencies with parts, the hulk buster needed to be bigger, to be a mech and to fit in tony stark. so if you add more articulation it might ruin the size more. Unless he has parts to correct the sizes
Pros: CCBS is used quite well in this MOC. I especially like the chest piece.
Underused HF 1.0 feet are underused. I appreciate the attention they get here.
If a bit bland, the color scheme is consistent and that’s what counts in my book.
Cons: What is it with people and not adding knees to mechs? Is it just a universal hatred for normal walking and posability?
Same with the arms. Why are there no elbows?!
The back of the torso has some open axles, but that’s just a nitpick.
Wow! You made some really good critiques and suggestions. I wasn’t expecting this much feedback. The TTV Boards are such a great way to share and critique LEGO builds. I really appreciate this comment, and I will take everything you said into consideration.
I do understand your point with the blandness of the coloring of this MOC, however it was never supposed to have any more colors than black (and very very dark gray ).
Our main goal in this MOC was to create a more properly scaled mech for various themes - and with this came sacrifice. Its smaller size makes it difficult to create articulation in all areas. I do agree that it does have low mobility, but increasing that aspect would make it bigger, which is something we don’t necessarily want to do.
The open axles are just a placeholder - we couldn’t find the right colored axle that fit exactly with the build, so it does jut out from the back. Ideally that would not be there, but our collection is not unlimited so some compromise had to be made.
Overall, I take everything you said into significant consideration. In a few weeks, we may release a Paragon 2.0 based on what suggestions pop up in the comments. Thanks for viewing our MOC!

Galactic 2.0
@JMP: Funny enough, we were originally trying to make a more accurately scaled Hulkbuster, but decided to go with an all-out black color scheme, which looked way cooler to us. We switched up the fig as well to make more sense.
