With the DOOM the Dark Ages DLC coming out in about two days, I figured I should share one of my few system MOCs. Basically, how many accurate/recognizable DOOM characters and monsters can I make using a (mostly) purist part selection?
Here we have the 1990s Doomguy, complete with all his weapons. They are pretty dang accurate, though the BFG should technically have two stocks. That clever super shotgun design is not mine, I found it on a youtube channel. All parts are stock lego pieces.
On the more elaborate side, Doom Eternal’s design. There are 2 modified parts on this one, the handcuffs are cut to bulk his arms out a bit, and the Icepick piece is cut to make his wrist blade. (And the red flame is fake). This included all of his weapons, most of witch are my design, though I can’t take credit for that fantastic shotgun design. (Got it from google images)
BFG 9000 is my favorite out of these, the shaping turned out great.
Some of the guns are way too big, but I avoided custom parts completely.
Some pictures have the older, bright green helmet. Dark green version only comes in one set and was hard to get on its own.
Classic guy works better in terms of scale. Only enormous gun is the BFG.
I have also made a number of the Demons, which I will post later.
