I more so think that it’s a long-standing tradition to always build sets wrong.

Somewhere out in the universe, those prototype launchers are just sitting there
Here’s what you do. At the start of the first day have a raffle for who gets to build the display sets. A bunch of 6-12 year olds build them correctly and its fun.

Prototypes of Shadow Leeches (blue) and the ball they come in, and three orange testmolds. You can see that the printed prototypes are more evil and sharper than the finished product.
They’ve got the D:< face.
The pod looks like it had vains on it. Gross.
But I think the prototype shadow leech looks better than what we got. Would like it to see in translucent though.
