It’s Canadian. But there are a dizzying amount of BrickFairs, BrickFests, BrickCons, etc. in the US. However, I’ve heard from seasoned AFOLs that Brickfête is one of the most intimate and friendly cons in North America.
I love how all this faux-Eljay bashing somehow popped up on my topic.

Not at all. Sure, there’s some LEGO employees and sometimes they reveal upcoming sets at cons like this, but it’s mainly a community-run event for the community. Does that answer your question?
