M A K U T A, Void Incarnate

So, this is The reason I didn’t post anything for some time.

(I tried to edit out the unneeded parts of the backgrounds)

This is my headcanon version of Makuta (not Teridax).

The headcanon

I wanted to combine all design elements I really liked about Makuta the character, and the brotherhood of Makuta members.

The void colour scheme, overall thematic, texture and mask,
The staff,
The proportions and wings,
And the glowing ‘heart’ (Tridax Pod).

This model literally cannot stand normally without 4 transparent stilts. There are no modified pieces though.

Aftermath of posing

M A T O R O.

Matoro.
Matoro.
Matoro.

That’s right, you.

I just need that little

Mask

YOU have.
(the way I had to carry him for posing reminded me of Spamton lol)

Gorgeous. The wings being so messy and unidentifiable works unbelievably well for the void Makuta. Not sure how I feel about the double peg-legs, I feel like small claws would’ve been a more cohesive choice because now they look too smooth to fit with the rest.

I really like that you kept a similar staff, though, and the tridax pod in the chest is a neat touch.

Love the premise here. The wings are great, and I love the gear halo. I do think the limbs in particular are a little weak (curious to see what the legs would be like in more dynamic poses [which I know is impossible due to the stand situation)].

This is the final form of Makuta in a Bionicle JRPG, amazing work. I personally hated the retcon of making Makuta a species. Teridax getting a set was also dumb in my opinion, but I think it would’ve all worked out if we got one based on MNOG appearance for sure.

This is amazing. Something about the thin almost unnecessary legs helps with the creepy ghostlike look
