Two more Mangai from me. Another ice and the Mangai of stone. Mafa and Motara respectively.
Motara, name derived from the desert of po-wahi, is built to look industrial. Armed with protodermis knuckles, he is a close range fighter. Records corrupted no longer tell what Kanohi he wore, so as an educated guess I shall assume it was a Pakari(I don’t have a silver one so I’m using a stars avohkii as placeholder). One didn’t need to be the largest to be the strongest, and Motara was living proof. A valiant defender of the great city during the golden age, his ultimate fate is lost to time…
Mafa, namesake of Hura-Mafa river, was an unorthodox Toa of ice like his brother Hura. With his mask of summoning, he was able to display a vast variety of powers, which he channelled through his modified gauntlets. Focusing nearly all his spare time to carefully memorizing and inventing new powers, Mafa spent the most time in meditation at the great temple out of all the Mangai. Spiritual for a Toa of ice, almost eccentric in how he carried himself in action, Mafa was no fool. His tactics and plans would see the Mangai to many victories, and he was always welcome amongst his fellow Toa of ice.
Mafas, gauntlets were integrated Toa tools, allowing him to create ice shields or fire rays of frost with precision. Motara’s heavy plate allowed him to glance off otherwise crushing blows.
These two were a lot of fun to make, Motara a relaxing return to basics in Metru design and Mafa for the process of building his hands. Hope you enjoy.

Mafa’s arms are nice. I also like the way you attached the two extra swords on his back.
The boxing gloves on Motara are really nice imo. The Whenua drills as shoulders on Motara are cool.
