Can a Makuta create a Shadow Novablast?

On BioSector’s page for the nova blast, there is a citation that Makuta are incapable of performing a nova blast, but that a theoretical nova blast from a Toa of Shadow would be wholly nondestructive, cloaking a massive area in darkness for an unspecified period of time.
In BIONICLE Legends #9: Shadows in the Sky, Mutran performs an ability somewhat similar to a shadow nova blast to allow him and his allies the opportunity to retreat.

While a shadow nova blast isn’t destructive it could still be deadly as the Morbuzakh and some plants denied any light by melding Teridax does show that complete darkness is deadly. Granted this was against plants but considering The Kingdom Zyglak died without light and heat this shows complete darkness is indeed deadly and we know neither pit mutagen or flooding could kill them.

Gonna second what Ghid said. It’s possible to do something like it, but specifically a novablast is something Makuta don’t really do.
