By the way there is no shame in using friction pieces.the only other way of supporting mocs like this is to use piston pieces. Not only is it a huge pain to incorporate piston pieces in mocs but even they have their limitations.

@Bodi Thanks for that, and I mean that. I did use pistons on his front legs/arms, but you’re quite right about them having their own limitations. Some of my frustration more has to do with the loss of friction on older joints. Once again, thanks for the praise, and thrilled you like my Miserix!

Yeah pieces losing their friction is a problem. There is a trick though. Just get some paper towel and tear little pieces off and place them inside the socket. You can add layers till you are happy with the friction but just don’t over do it.

@Bodi REALLY? I’ve never heard that before; I’ll have to give that a try. Huh, this community never fails to impress me with its ingenuity.

@cynic1987 Thank you very much!

It’s so breathtaking to see a moc this large yet it still look super cohesive, great job!

@Eilrach Thank you for such high praise! He was a joy to design and build; I sort of treated him as my magnum opus for G1 MOCs.

Fantastic MOC. I don’t know what more I can say that hasn’t been said, aside from great work! This is what the G1 system was meant to do.

@KDNX The praise is greatly appreciated! While it has its own sets of limitations, there’s something really fun about working with the G1 system, and I’m happy to have built something so many have enjoyed. Thanks for the compliments!

@Senit Thank you! I was surprised that I hadn’t really seen anyone else do a green version of him, what I was looking at pictures of the original model.

@Biomechanical_Guy Thank you very much! I wanted him to be a big boy. Disgraced or not, he deserves to just look like a massive leviathan.
