It’s very cliche imo. Still good, but cliche
Not trying to sound rude or anything but how is it cliche? I get the black and red demonic look for an evil character is cliche, but in terms of contest entries, all I’ve been seeing are bipedal “dudes” with black purple and gold, and one of the same 2 heads, being either g1 or g2 makutas mask.
I feel like in that regard, a winged centaur with a scorpion tail stands out a bit from the crowd?

The way I see it, anything back of the waist, is cool. However, the anyhing before the centuar part is basically a black and red demon. Nothing special. It’s still built well though.
It doesn’t look anything like how I would picture Makuta, at all.
Considering that my entry has a resemblance to a kraken, I can’t really complain about it being different 
Everything about this looks pretty cool to me. The only thing I’m not a fan of is how the tail is permanently bent due to the parts used.

I like the overall look, and how the red is lightly accented.
o_o I’m glad I didn’t enter, because I wouldn’t even get a look in. It’s huge, and probably one of the most solid entries I’ve seen so far.
I can tell I’m going to be really torn when Shadow finishes Carnage xD

When I first saw this I thought it was cluttered and messy, but I was wrong. The textures and build flow really nicely and the colour scheme is just unique enough that it doesn’t fall into the stereotypical bad guy trope. Great work dude

For some reason I’m not a fan of this one, probably because I wouldn’t associate it with a Makuta, but the build is very nice!
I LOVE how it seems like an amalgamation of different monster parts. Dragon wings, centaur body and a scorpion tail! The texturing is also really nice especially with the extremities. The custom head and weapon are a nice touch as well.
