I have been working to recreate all of the first 3 years of bionicle in the GWP style, i finished the designing manas crabs today.

Impressive work so far 
I feel the manas are a little stud-heavy, but the shaping is just too good 
Definitely one of the most accurate of the models thus far.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into this collection, and you are right, the manas are too stud-heavy. I’ll be taking a look later at changing the plates to smooth tiles.

Small update based on feedback, swapped some plates out for tiles to reduce the number of visible studs

They’re pretty cute, and are pretty faithful to the original. I particularly like the way you interpreted the white Gali Hooks. Nice job!

Thanks! As for the gali hooks, almost every set that used that part also uses the same pieces in my builds, I think it improves consistency in the pack. The same goes for onua’s claws.
