I think there’s a good chance that the images you used in this topic displaying both forms in one file would be accepted
During the Orde contest they started allowing gifs for showcasing gear functions in addition to the main entry photo, so showing the transformation feature in a gif is potentially another option

I wonder if one file is accepted or not. I think it is accepted in main image but in the roster window, where all mocs in a poll are visible at the same time, usually only have one single image. So it might not be allowed there since it would be twice the usual width.
Do you think main entry photo could be a two parter? or should I try to ask in discord?
The thumbs seem a bit spindly, given how large the other claws are. The length is good, I just think they need a bit more bulk/“blade-ness”.
As in bladed thumb at the points? Some of those bionicle play sets cuould have small enough blades for it to look ok ish.
