Mini Ghar- Secret Santa

Anyway, here’s my Secret Santa gift, a miniature version of Ghar, @Pakari ’s self moc.

Unfortunately, I was severely restricted in parts, and I lacked a pakari, because I only have a handful of masks. I think I am going to have to finally figure out how to order on bricklink.

Anyway, that’s all.

I’m willing to bet Pakari meant better than their own work rather than yours. Pakari is an agreeable guy, not really a shade-thrower

I really like the proportions of this dude. The crossbow is also an interesting design. I know you prefered a Pakari (makes sense) but I think the Ruru compliments the build nicely. Nice job

OH MY GOSH, YES!

I am very sorry, I 100% meant my artwork I made as my Secret Santa gift (which was to @NOTaHFfan). I just felt Nota’s own gift was ridiculously good compared to mine and I felt kinda bad about it.

I actually really love this version of Ghar! He’s so compact, and he’s adorable!

The quakebow is also extremely cool! It fits really well with the scale. The little details too, like the bandolier and the shoulder armor are beautiful!

And I think all of the poses fit him 100%.

It’s really funny that you picked that mask, though, because you included an accidental Easter Egg!

Waaay back when I made Ghar V1 on MOCPages, he was actually called “Garan” until I was reminded that Garan is actually an existing character - the Onu-Matoran Voya Nui Resistance leader. I had just forgotten.

But Garan, the Matoran, actually wears that mask, so having Mini Ghar wear it is actually a cheeky callback to the original blunder that gave him his current name! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Once again, just to be sure, @MakutaOisli I love your gift! Thank you so much for taking the time to make it, because I really appreciate it!

I am also jealous of your 3D printer, by the way…

My bad, thanks for clarifying, and thank you for the appreciation!
I’m happy it was satisfactory!
And it’s cool that there was an unintentional reference.
Thanks.

The entire thing is waaay better than mine, too, it’s so cool.

by which i mean the subjective quality of the gift you made is speculatively better than the objective quality of the gift i made. The investigative quality of the gift i recieved has already been commented on in it’s own topic and need not be convectively compared.

In all seriousness, i like the design of the arms and legs.
