MOC: Sharp

i should take notes about this

Yup. Here’s a few more.

1- Be sure to chose a few separate distinct colours for a MOC.
2- If you want a challenge, try making custom limbs out of smaller TECHNIC elements.
3- If you wanna use standard Kanohi be sure to not use the same colour scheme as the set the mask originally came in. Ex: don’t use a dark red Huna with red and grey unless you’re actually trying to make a Vakama revamp.
4- (This is IMO the most important thing you can ever do for humanoid BIO-MOCing) Study human proportions! Pay close attention to male and female anatomy and attempt to replicate it in MOCs. It’ll make your figures look infinintly more natural.
5- Read this topic.

It’s just my way of saying Burnt Orange, since it reminds me of clay.

@legomaster1378 I’m pretty sure you could get CCBS shells in Reddish Brown in Chi Mungus, but since that is slightly brighter than straight up brown and also only in one set that was never released in the U.S., I could see why Pegasus would not use them.

Love the moc especially the torso looks good building off the og Mata torso

I love it. That guy looks cool. Looks like Pohatu means business.

Yup. They’re really hard to get on bricklink.com without getting slammed by international shipping charges.

are canada shipping charges as high as the U.S?

It all depends on where the seller is located. Overseas shipping tends to be very expensive for bulky items like LEGO sets.

why not just ordering the parts on their own?

There’s currently only 1 lot for sale on BL… in Germany.

chi mungus was released in canada i think

Never saw him. Pretty sure it was just released in Europe.

i saw him in quebec once or twice

Really? Huh. Because the fire/ice ultrabuilds were widely reported to be not released in Canada/ the USA.

we did have these ultrabuilds, i can assure you. unless the shops imported them

I live in Quebec too, and I’ve never seen 'em. What store did you see them at?

not a store, but a flea market. hey, where are you in quebec?

That’s really bizarre. The only place I could think of that might stock them in Canada would be Lasting Toys in Ontario, which specializes in hard-to-find products.

We never got the Fire/Ice Ultrabuilds in the good old U.S.

Also, if you saw these in a Flea Market, they are most likely imports or fakes.
