I guess I’m also a number 3 guy.

In my opinion the G1 parts make MOCs look more… ehm bionicleish ?

@MakutaKirakh Yeah. That’s why I feel that they need at least some.

By virtue of them being introduced in a BIONICLE line as opposed to G2 parts being introduced as “non-BIONICLE”, no doubt?

Even when the CCBS would have been introduced for G1 and the old G1-system would have been introduced for G2 I would still say the (in this situation) G2 parts would fit BIONICLE much more because of the look of them. They just look more like what the name BIONICLE tells you about the line “biomechanicle”.

I hope it’s understandable what I want to say. xD

@MakutaKirakh I do understand. I’ll be honest, I could care less about the bio-mechanical aspect of Bionicle, although I think it’s great that you do. I’m sure Lego prefers your thought process way more than mine.

I have a MOC, namely Ezarax, whose legs and arms are CCBS, but on the arms I made custom armor for him and his lower leg is a Rahkshi leg. I love mixing Old Bionicle with CCBS Bionicle.

@DG_Eddie I think it looks very interesting.

I typically prefer one or the other in a single MOC with maybe a few parts mixed in (like my self MOC where G1 is prevalent but I used just a little CCBS.
