I figured it worked here well enough, and my JtO Narmoto was posted in the general Lego creations.
I was thinking the same thing about the hands while making him, sadly I don’t have them though. And I only have one gold stud, it’s on Ekimu currently.
I feel I do have a good eye for accuracy, even down to the fact that the shells on his forearms extend beyond the 2015 addons in the show, which is why I gave him the 5 long shells on his arms.

Brilliant use of the Metrutoran torso in red, but I would put a slope piece at the back of the leg in red instead, covers more and give it a nicer shape (of course also using two more round 1x1 plates for it and two brick pins).
Plus you wont see blue pins sticking out.

Did you cut the torso panels…thats considered blasphemy by some. I like the whole thing when its the most gold.
(I imagine this would have been the functions for 2017 and done in this way, if we ever had that)

I don’t mind cutting parts if I know it will help make character better, beside it is hidden under armor. I do things like that only in G2 sets, since for me more important and sacred is G1.

And that after cutting G1 pieces, they arent as useful as G2 parts are due to them not having simplicity and versatility.

Hey that’s inaccurate. The real Makuta the Mask maker is suppose to have a 2015 Toa chest piece.

In 2015 animations he had normal chest like Ekimu, in comics he had normal chest, in makuta contest video his small version had normal chest. Only in JtO he had Toa chest. So it’s 3:1, for normal chest.

Not with the 2015 animations…and to be frank the JTO version felt off. Why da hell did Makuta be the only Okotan to have a chestplate like that, specially the closest family member of his (Ekimu) did not?
Or he got buffed cause he did all the heavy lifting of the two brothers. That would also make me more salty due to me doing all the hard work and more while big bro gets all the praises.
