MORALLY AMBIGUOUS man… AMBIGUOUS, AMBIGUOUS guy…

by golly! what a tall man!

ooh but he’s hunched now (for grappling)

wow! really tall!

that guy isn’t tall… not at all… (this is his canon height btw)(all of my guys are inika scale)

oh that looks cool

i’ve seen cooler backs

does YOUR moc have an optional ab crunch? i didn’t think so!!!

Name: Neurex
Species: Originally Matoran, now Toa
Prevailing Element: Plantlife
Kanohi: Tryna
Quote: “I’ll find them, I’ll kill them, no matter how many people I need to rip to shreds.”
Neurex was originally a simple Bo-Matoran, until, for a reason unknown to him, a certain Makuta elected to destroy his village and kill everyone that inhabited it. Neurex only survived by the fact he was unloading some boats at the dock, luckily far enough from the village that this Makuta didn’t see him. Seeing no better option as for what to do with his life, he devoted himself to finding and destroying the person who destroyed his home. During the early days of his vengance-seeking, through a rather wild and unexpected string of events, he was somehow able to turn himself into a Toa. He now wanders the world, continuing to search for the one who destroyed his home. Though, he never actually saw the culprit’s face…

(i have tho it was nekidax lolololol)

(although he probably had a different mask at the time)

(also i changed my mind on this

he will get his own post)

(that’s all, rat killa daniel out :v:)

I love that torso. Working pistons are one of my greatest weaknesses.

I like the torso design, plus the use of smoother pieces so the CCBS doesn’t contrast too badly with the G1 pieces

I like him good moc

I’d recommend getting a different color background for your photos; for the longest time I just assumed you didn’t have a very good camera, but the really tall photo is immensely crisp and I’m curious if it’s because of the lack of blue.

As for this man of moral ambiguity, the spindly limbs work in his favor, but the arms are just a teensy bit too spindly. I’m not sure what could go on the upper arms to balance them out - maybe that Star Wars shin armor piece - but a little something would do wonders there.

The piston obliques is a design concept done many different times in fiction, but that doesn’t make it any less fun here. I’m disappointed we didn’t get to see any pictures of him twisting his torso, since it seems like that should be possible with the visible connections.

Can’t wait for the Triumphant return of Nekidax :goo:

glad to hear someone else appreciates them! i’ve been thinking about rebuilding my original keetorange marendar, so i may need to put some on him

that’s always my goal with my mocs, i never like it when i see builds where there’s a major clash in textures between the smooth ccbs and more rough g1 parts, so i try to keep smooth parts as more of armor and shell parts covering up the inner techy bits of the fellas

iphone 16 pro max, definitely no studio quality but it holds its own pretty well for the most part

i use that color mostly because blue doesn’t appear very often throughout my builds (plus i’ve just used it for so long i’m just used to it) but i suppose i can entertain a different color

again, he hasn’t changed very much at all, essentially the only new thing is a new accessory that helps mask a weaker part of his build

probably not lol i can’t say i’ve ever seen another build with one
i’d love to see what you can do tho
