Out of all of those, I’ve never understood why Avatar’s sequel was so popular. The run time is just so long that I wouldn’t want to watch it… but then I did go to watch a 3-hour Dune movie, so it’s probably just personal preference.

It’s funny, now that you mention that, that both movies have almost the same exact plot. I think that’s what puts me off for the sequel, the fact that it’s almost a rehash of the original movie. They both have good CGI, though.

Absolutely. I found the movie really overrated when it came out. Spectacular CGI was not enough to sell me on it.
