NightlyNewsatNine | NNN

NightlyNewsatNine is a stop motion series from the wonderful human being that is David M. Pickett. It’s set in the mystical land of Figuria, filled to the brim with exotic minifigures, villains, and robots.

It’s currently on a hiatus, but we do have these two bundles of joy:

Do you like the series? Am I the only one who knows about it?

I saw these videos a few years ago, I love them!
I just wish he didn’t become Brick101… :frowning:
That just makes me feel like he won’t be continuing the series. :sob:

I wish it he kept making videos also he seems to have a lot of time on his hands

He’s currently working on the script. Also, Mr. Pickett has been pretty busy lately, with his wedding, a full-time job, and his How to Build videos.

Zundar is great! I especially love his silver paint job.

My personal favorite is the Three-headed Prophet. I really don’t know why…

A bit long, but very good.

Yeah, they were originally released as five minutes segments with 30 seconds to a minute long commercial. I chose to put the compilation in to make it feel a little bit more like the intended news show it’s supposed to be.

Oh man, this brings me back to my years of watching Brickfilms on YouTube as a kid.

Even today, the NNN holds up. The animation is a bit simplistic but the script, pacing and set design are gold. David Pickett has an absolutely wonderful imagination that really shines through in these films.
