All of them good Animated DC intro musics.
Good. You have been spared great pain.
As I’ve heard. Though as much as I loved Cybertron, I do want to watch the rest of the Unicron Trilogy. However, there is a better place to talk about it.
I have an interesting combination of songs that hit me hard nostalgia wise.
- I Don’t Want to Live On the Moon from Sesame Street
- I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables
- One by U2
- Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen
If it’s an Emo-Pop rock sort of deal (AAR, Sum41, Paramore, Nine Days, etc.), that was popular when it was around, I get a lot of nostalgia from that.
Ironically, it doesn’t even have to be a song I liked at the time (actually, I generally hated pop music when those bands were around; I’ve simply found that, now they aren’t so popular, I like them a lot more). In general, if it was anywhere from 2000 to about 2008, then it’s very nostalgic, because about 2008 is when I consider my best times of childhood to be, and really when I started to get out of that child mindset and into the more self-aware, less innocent mindset. So yeah.
Any alternative song from the early 2000s, and anything from Homestar Runner
I wish more than anything that this song was longer, I need to blast this in my room to make people think I’m listening to hard rock
Never heard that before that’s pretty good
When you put in the DVDs for the Hero Factory movies, this plays in the menu… I remember sitting in the menu for like an hour once, just to hear this play.
I remember this song playing on the radio over and over again when I was like 4 or 5. Back then I always wondered what he was singing about, I thought it must be a really important message because they played it so often.
Heard it on the radio again today for the first time in years and it hit me like a truck. Now that I understand the lyrics, I’m disappointed to find no wisdom in it ![]()

That opening is clearly some form of a hidden communication method.
As for me, I desired once more to learn how to perform in reverse…
A little bit of context: when I was circa 6 to 9 years old, I made a lot of videos (by that I mean enough to fill a 15GB folder on the family PC) with our 240p digital camcorder. I obviously wanted background music, but I had no idea how to edit the videos… So I recorded music from some Youtube videos with my mini cassette recorder, held it underneath the camera and played back the music while filming. You can probably imagine just how great the quality was.
Anyways, I had several tapes with a variety of songs on it (mostly just royalty free music by Kevin Macleod and the like), and there was this one song I used in basically every second video…
I recently found it online by pure coincidence and man, this brought back memories. Most of my cassettes from back then have either been lost or recorded over, but I still have the original with this song on it. It sounds very different (muffled, wonky, laptop fans whirring in the background) so it’s amazing to hear it in HD! However, it also just doesn’t hit the same because of that.
What a… happy accident

This is actually what made me to love sprite art.
Through the Fire and Flames
I listened to this when I was at high school
When I was in high school, TTF&TF was the theme song for me and my friends’ D&D campaign.
Excuse me but what song is TTF&TF? I tried to look it up but I could not find anything on it.
I’m guessing it’s an abbreviation for the song you just posted.
Yes, this. Sorry for the confusion.
